Waste Management
Intrinsik has evaluated the impacts of waste management activities including: the handling, transportation, storage, treatment, accidental release, and disposal of waste, on both existing and proposed facilities. Evaluations of waste management activities have involved use of the following core Intrinsik areas of expertise:

- Landfill sites (municipal solid waste, hazardous waste, non-hazardous industrial and commercial waste)
- Transfer stations
- Materials recycling facilities (MRFs)

Our staff have experience conducting waste management assessments in numerous provincial jurisdictions across Canada, as well as federally, related to existing and proposed facilities in support of regulatory approval, on-going emissions assessments, and accidental releases.
